In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden cult.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
